Acknowledging system health alerts

You can acknowledge and respond to system health alerts for subsystems from System Manager. You can use the information displayed to take the recommended action and correct the problem reported by the alert.

Steps

1.	From the home page, double-click the appropriate storage system.

2.	Expand the Cluster hierarchy in the left navigation pane.

3.	In the navigation pane, perform the appropriate action:

If your storage system is running...	Do this...
Data ONTAP 8.1 or a later version in the 8.1 release family	Click Diagnostics > System Health.
Data ONTAP 8.2 or a later version in the 8.2 release family	Click Diagnostics > System Alerts.

4.	Click the arrow icon next to the name of subsystem.

5.	Select the alert that you want to acknowledge and click Acknowledge.

6.	Type your name and click Acknowledge.
